Excelsior Medical IPA, PLLC is an Independent Practice Association (IPA) founded in 2002 by a group of physicians with many years of experience in private practice and a reputation for providing quality medical care and outstanding service in some of the most ethnically diverse communities of New York.
Today we have close to 300 physician-members who care for over 100,000 patients throughout throughout the five boroughs of New York City, and the counties of Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester.
Excelsior Medical IPA (EMIPA) is aware of the burdens that the changes in healthcare over the last 15 years have placed in the personal time, professional satisfaction and quality of life of doctors. We know there is a better way to practice medicine.
Since its inception EMIPA has been committed to providing contractual negotiation, credentialing services, quality of care improvement, and increased reimbursement to medical providers, while at the same time preserving traditional practice autonomy.
